Marian Louise Hunkins

Marian Louise Platt-Hunkins, age 87, of Wyoming, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, June 10, 2023. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Noella. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Donald Walton, Melody Mitchell, Della Hunkins, Beverly Valentine, Harmony Taylor, Gordon Howe, Floyd Howe, Judy Schuelke; 30 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brothers, Jim Platt, Joe Platt; sister-in-law, Joyce Platt; lifelong friend, Etta Myers. Marian loved her family and church. She also liked to write. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Sunset Park Church of God, 3450 Michael Ave. SW, Wyoming, with Pastor Paul D. Myers officiating. Burial will be held at Garfield Park Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 10-11 am at church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Sunset Park Church of God.
