Marian Griffee

Marian Griffee, age 85, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at home with her loved ones after a short battle with cancer. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Rick Griffee, Rose Griffee, Amy Griffee, and Robert (Karen) Drzewiecki; many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Loretta DeVries and Judy Hardy; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Elijah; granddaughter, Amanda Smith; sister, Sally Brummelhoff. She retired from working at the social security administration. Marian loved spending time with her family and her dog PJ, knitting, crocheting, watching crime tv, going camping at Pioneer Park, and listening to the King, Elvis Presley. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave, Wyoming, with Rev. Dave Struyk officiating. Burial at Rest Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may greet the family Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 7-9 pm at the funeral home, as well as an hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
