Marian den Dulk

On Sunday, February 28, 2021, Marian Joan den Dulk went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 91. Marian was born on December 8, 1929 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and grew up on South Leonard St. with her two brothers and four sisters. After the death of her father, she moved to San Diego, California where she met and married Clarence den Dulk in 1954. Marian lived in the Bay Area of San Francisco for 17 years where she raised five children: Adele, Denise, Calvin, Arnold, and Paul. Marian dearly loved the Lord and was involved in the churches where she lived (California, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Michigan) singing in the choirs, praying for her family and friends, mentoring the young women of the church, showing her hospitality and love to all who knew her. She was always active, cooking delicious meals for her family, crocheting blankets for her family and baby blankets for new mothers. Marian also enjoyed golfing with her husband and managed to win a time or two. Marian was known for her sense of humor and quick wit, often making her family and friends laugh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, two of her brothers, and a sister. Marian is survived by her children; her five grandchildren, Calvin, Jr., Joshua, Jessica, Jacob, and Benjamin; and three great-grandchildren, Nate, Callie, and Hunter. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Trinity Christian Reformed Church, 0-60 Port Sheldon SW, Grandville with Rev. Michael Schout officiating. Burial Bellevue Memorial Park in Daytona Beach, FL.
