Margo Jean Drozd

Margo Drozd, age 75, of Hudsonville, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, December 22, 2024. Margo was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Margo was a master gardener, who enjoyed her flowers. She has a passion for sports and any sporting events. In her earlier years, she played fast pitch softball and tap dancing. She was a lifelong competitive golfer and bowler, who loved to gamble and would bet on anything. She will always be remembered as a winner and losing was not acceptable. She was into family ancestry, class reunions, special events, and made sure everybody had a good time. Margo would be willing to do anything for anybody and was excited to go on an adventure. She enjoyed traveling around the country with both her family and her girlfriends. Disney World was one of her favorite places to visit and wouldn't turn anything down that had to do with Mickey Mouse. Margo and Dennis loved to go snowmobiling, riding on Dennis' motorcycle, and sharing wonderful memories camping on Portage Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Irma Evanczo; and brother, Jimmy Evanczo. She will lovingly be remembered by her husband, Dennis; sons, Bradley Drozd and significant other LeAnn James, Nicholas and Tricia Drozd; 6 grandchildren; Julia Watson, Cooper Drozd, Damon Drozd, Kaden Drozd, Sophia Marie Drozd, Landon Heykoop; brothers-in-law, Theodore and Carol Drozd; sisters-in-law, Robin Drozd, Irene Evanczo; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.  A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Friday from 4-7 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7 p.m.  at the funeral home. An additional time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service.
