Margie J. Huffman

Margie J. Huffman, age 89, of Grandville, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on February 19, 2023. She was preceded in death by her son, Brian Huffman; brothers, Robert and Jack Rozema. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband 67 years, George Huffman; daughter, Beth and Jeff Mulder; grandchildren, Daniel and Becky Schell, Lindsey Schell, Jason and Madeline Schell, Matt Mulder and Nadia Peters, Bowie Mulder; great-grandchildren, Lana, Alayna, Kyler, Clara, Adelyn, Lily, Ryan, Charlotte, Ruby; sister, Arlene Holtgeerts; several nieces and nephews. Margie was a lifelong U of M football fan. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s sporting events and also playing cards and Bingo. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. at Buck Creek Community Church (3746 Byron Center, Wyoming, MI 49519) with Rev. Paul Wesselink officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at church on Friday prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
