Margaret Jean Hayes

Margaret Jean Hayes, age 99, of Wyoming, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023. Margaret proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a pharmacist’s mate during WWII at the Philadelphia Naval Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Raymond W. Hayes; son, William Hayes; daughter, Janet Daley; son-in-law, Robert Gunter; sisters, Mary Gressle and Betty Longbrake. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Mary Gunter, Robert (Joan) Hayes, Donald Hayes; son-in-law, Patrick Daley; daughter-in-law, Janet Hayes; grandchildren: Heather (Jon) Hauser, Rebecca (Jeff) Rozema, Ryan Hayes, Mandi (Cory) Morgan, Raymond (Caitlin) Hayes, Bryan Hayes, Kelly (Joel) DeLorge, Kate (Joshua) Nawrot, Kindra (Marty) Miller; and many great-grandchildren. A private family service was held at St. John Vianney Church, and her burial was held at Resurrection Cemetery.
