Marcel Joseph Serba

Marcel Joseph Serba, age 84, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 1, 2017.  He will be dearly missed by his wife of 59 years, Donna; daughters, Sandy and Jerry Hoonhorst, Julie Serba, Kathleen and Nathan Terpstra; grandchildren, Michael and Libby Hoonhorst, Nick Hubka, Kari Hubka, Christian Terpstra; and 3 great grandchildren.  Marcel proudly served our country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean War. Funeral services will be held on Monday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Rev. Rick Oppenhuizen officiating.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 10-11 am at at the funeral home prior to the service.
