Mae   Koerner

Koerner, Mae Ruth KOERNER:  Mae Ruth Koerner, age 85, of Grandville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 11, 2012.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Marve, 12 years ago; her grandson, Joshua Koerner; brother, Ken and Anne Bylsma; sister, Barb Cammenga.  Mae was a very caring, kind and giving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed by her children, Dan and Julie Koerner, Bob and Karen Koerner, Ruth and Mike Elzinga, Mary and Pete Kamps, Barb and Jack Anderson, Jim and Beth Koerner; 45 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; brother, Stu and Betty Bylsma; sisters, Thea and John Buiter, Esther and Frank Block; brother-in-law, Ed Cammenga; many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held 11 am on Monday at Byron Center Protestant Reformed Church, 1945 84th Street SW, Byron Center with Prof. Ron Cammenga and Rev. Audred Spriensma officiating.  Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive. Memorial contributions may be made to Protestant Reformed Special Education.
