Lynn Levay, age 83, of Wyoming, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Born and raised in Michigan, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose life was marked by resilience, strength, and loving her family. After she and Ron retired, they spent their days taking road trips from Michigan to wherever their family was. She showed her love the best by making sure her family knew they were supported. She attended every graduation and major life event and never passed up the chance to stop in and spend time with those she cared about most, even if it was just a short visit along the way. She was known for her quick wit, sense of humor, and fearless spirit that guided her.
Lynn will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 35 years, Ron; her children and grandchildren, Charles and Gina Jaent (Kaitlyn, Jarad), Michelle and Kevin Foley (Alex, Madeline), Nicole and Gregg Becker (Sydney and Michael Maxwell, Martha and Cameron Kreevich, Tayler Becker, Bryce Becker, Brett Becker), James Levay, Suki and Dave VanSweden (Lauren and Jeremy Knoll, Matthew and Alexandra McGuire); eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Joan Cook, Joyce Bryant; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Harris, and brother, Robert Coon.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3937 Wilson Ave. SW, Grandville with Rev. Douglas Braun presiding. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Tuesday, January 20, from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. and one hour prior to the Mass at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
