Lyle Edgar Putnam

Lyle E. Putnam, age 87, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ surrounded by his family on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Lyle was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Since accepting Jesus Christ at the age of 25, he was dedicated to serving God, with family, church, and community. Marilyn and Lyle have been faithful members for over 40 years at West Cannon Baptist Church. Lyle loved life, and was a gentleman farmer, an avid musician playing several instruments. Lyle received great joy from entertaining his many grandchildren. He was survived by the love of his life of 68 years, Marilyn Putnam: children, Ryan Putnam, Mark Putnam, Connie (Rick) Curtis, Jayne (Mark) Wood, Julie (Tim) Lenon; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren, and 2 donkeys. A memorial service for family and friends will be held on February 12, 2022 at West Cannon Baptist Church at 11:00 am. The family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the church.
