Luisa M. Cotto

Luisa M. Rivera Morales Cotto, age 86 of Wyoming, MI and Defiance, OH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Rivera Coto and Maria C. Morales, her siblings, Joana and Juanito Morales, son, Juan Antonio Carrillo Rivera, granddaughter, Marti Rivera Johanson, great-granddaughter, Maricella M. Bonilla, and her beloved pets, Daisy, Corky, Cookie, Garfielda and Chubby. She is survived by her husband and father of her eight children, Antonio Carrillo Coto; children, Luzmaria (Myron) Bok of Defiance, OH, Augustin of Lansing, MI, Margarita Cotto (fiance Chiro) of Grand Rapids. MI, Danny of Grand Rapids, MI, Senaida (Lionel) Perez of Cleveland, OH, David (Laurie) Cotto of Grand Rapids, MI, Rebecca Cotto Webb (fiance Mark) of Cincinnati, OH; her daughter-in-law, Tina Rivera of San Antonio, TX; nieces and nephew, Tomasa Morales Dusick, Nilsa, Yolanda and John Morales of IL. She also leaves 23 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren to carry on her memories. Luisa enjoyed caring and cooking rice and beans for her countless grandchildren and will be missed for her infamous Puerto Rican sayings and advice on love and life. A time of visitation will be Friday 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, MI. Interment will be at Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance, Ohio.
