Lucille Emma de Wolde

Lucille Emma de Wolde, age 83, of Wyoming, went home to be with her Lord while surrounded by her daughters on Saturday, April 29, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Christian and Angeline TeGrootenhuis; brothers and sisters, Bill, Marie, Agnes, Morris, Bertha, and David; grandson, Jason. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Nancy (Mark) Cowchok, Sandy (Bob) Gardner, Brenda de Wolde; grandchildren, Heather, Timothy (Sylvia), Felicia (Nick), Ashley (Kody), Becca; great-grandchildren, Cambria, Sophia, Abigail, Gavin, David; sisters and brothers, Onetta, Olive, Arlene, Roger, Maleeta, Russell; and several nieces and nephews. Lucy loved to serve her family, and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to bowl and watching the movie “The Sound of Music” and actually visited the place where they filmed it. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 2pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville, with Rev. Paul Wesselink officiating. Burial Kent Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 12:30 - 2pm at the funeral home. The family is requesting no flowers be sent. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gift of Life.
