Ward, Lucena May Lucena May Ward, aged 83, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Richard; children, Marjorie and Robert Williams, James and Deanna Ward, Patricia Goodman, Joyce and Gary Babic, Jean and Andre Aki, Paul and Ellen Ward, June and David Bowman; 22 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Agnes and David Montgomery, Beatrice and Jack Neely, Linda and Hank Dykstra; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Pat and Bill Snyder, Donna Welton, Wallace and Betty Ward. Funeral services for Lucena will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at Caledonia United Methodist Church, 250 Vine St. with Rev. Jodie Flessner officiating. Interment in Lakeside Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Caledonia), 616 E. Main St. on Tuesday from 2-5 pm. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Caledonia United Methodist Church or The American Cancer Society.
