Louise E. Jahnke

Louise E. Jahnke, age 99, of Caledonia went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 26, 2024. Louise was a hardworking, gracious, and kind person with a great sense of humor. She placed her faith in Jesus above anything in this world, and was incredibly dedicated to her church family at St. Paul Lutheran. A close second to her faith was her family, whom she loved and cherished. She worked hard throughout her whole life to provide for them everything they needed, and even at the end of her life, she never stopped thinking about or caring for them.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Jake Jahnke; brother, Bill Dodge; and several other brothers and sisters-in-law.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Barb (Lor) Kunst, Phil (Helen) Jahnke, Sue (Paul) Kabelman, Bill Jahnke; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, January 3 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 8436 Kraft Ave. SE, Caledonia, with Pastor David Miller officiating.  Burial will be held at Holy Corners Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, an hour prior to the service at the church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Organ Fund.
