Louis “Bill”  Van Belkum

Van Belkum, Louis "Bill" Bill Van Belkum, age 70, of Grand Rapids  went home to be with his Lord July 31, 2013.  He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Emily Lynn Barber. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara; children, Sandra Kay (Joseph) Kettner, Paula Lynn Barber, Louis William Van Belkum IV; grandchildren: Tim (Sarah) Barber, Mike (Lainey) Barber, Bob Barber, Brandon Barber-Lee, Louis Van Belkum, and Cody Van Belkum; great granddaughter:  Skye Linn Barber; brothers and sister:  Carol (Bart) Sasso, John (Connie) Van Belkum, Joseph (Laura) Van Belkum; sisters and brothers in law:  Nancy (Jim) Mc Nulty, Sally (Gary) Sjaarda, Debra (Jim) Ward, and his special canine companion,  Maggie;  as well as many nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 5-7 pm Friday at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Kentwood) 4646 Kalamazoo Ave.  Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
