Lorraine Morgan

Lorraine H. Morgan, age 82, of Grand Rapids, was called home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who dearly treasured her family. Lorraine loved gardening with a variety of flowers throughout her yard. She was very talented and taught herself sewing and various upholstery projects. Over the years, she attended Hillcrest CRC in the Black Hills and Lee Street CRC serving with her time and talents in various ways including making crafts, serving in the food pantry, and was involved in the GEMS program, mentoring girls and showing the love of Jesus. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years, Albert; children, Albert (Sue) Morgan Jr., Matthew Morgan, Tim Morgan, Julie (David) Adams, John Morgan; grandchildren, Rebecca Holm, Elizabeth Morgan, Jeremy Morgan, Chris Gifford, Matthew Morgan Jr., Seth Adams, Aja Adams; siblings, Lester Vincent, Lois Wilson, Leota Vincent; and several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Brookside Christian Reformed Church, 3600 Kalamazoo SE, Grand Rapids, with Rev. Paul DeVries officiating. Entombment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from noon -1:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
