Lorraine Haverkamp

Lorraine A. Haverkamp, age 87, of Jenison went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 9, 2020. She is set free from her pain and suffering here on earth and is now with her Lord in perfect peace.  She was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Lucas VanSprange. Lorraine will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 66 years, Harvey; children, Ralph Haverkamp, Linda VanSprange, Tom and Amy Haverkamp, Susan and Tom Steigenga, Jim and Lynnell Haverkamp, David and Julie Haverkamp; 18 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Dorothy Koop, Christine VanZytveld, Jack and Jackie Haverkamp. A devoted mother and grandmother, Lorraine was a lifetime member of 12th Avenue CRC.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 11 am at Baldwin St. Christian Reformed Church, 2101 Baldwin St., Jenison with Pastor Jim Evenhouse officiating.  Burial Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, and on Tuesday one hour before the service at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Pine Rest Patient Assistance Fund.
