Lori K. Schimke

Lori K. Schimke, age 67, of Kentwood, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 18, 2024. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 45 years, Bernard Schimke; children, Tiffany (Nathan) Amstutz, and Jason (Emily) Schimke; grandchildren, Cadence, Elijah, and Kendall Amstutz, Johann, Samuel, Levi, Carter, and AnaLeah Schimke; mom, Gwenlyn Brown; sisters, Stephanie (Jeff) Bonekamp, Amy (Kate Easter) Brown; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her dad, William Brown; grandparents; and great grandparents. A funeral service will be held 10 am Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Kentwood Christian Church, 5841 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood with Rev. Patrick Gill officiating. Burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may greet the family Thursday from 9-10 am at church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Lewy Body Dementia Association, National Parkinson’s Association, or Faith Hospice.
