Loren Ray Randall

Loren Ray Randall, age 70, of Kentwood, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 2, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Chae Hyang Randall; sister Linda Randall.  He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Dennis and Kathy Randall, Marsha and Jason Walker; grandchildren: Justine and Eric, Annah, Alyssa, Kylie; great grandchildren, Alena, Grayson, Avah, Isaac, Jayla, Victoria, Cecilia;  sister; Randy (Paul) Imlah, several nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends and his cat, Tommy III. Loren valiantly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. While stationed in Korea, he met his wife Chae and then moved to Michigan to raise their family.  Loren was a warm, loving, kind husband, father, and grandfather. He loved having his grandchildren visit him. He worked for many years in the furniture industry, and he enjoyed bowling and golf. He lost his leg to diabetes but that did not keep him from socializing with his friends at the Pump House, even though he did not drink.  He remained active and independent in his own home. In accordance with Loren’s wishes he has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 11:30 am at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 10:30-11:30 prior to the service. Burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, with full military honors. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to American Diabetes Association.
