Lois R. Timmer

Lois R. Timmer, age 82, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Eyk and Floyd L. Timmer; and her brothers, Robert “Jim” J. Drew and Les Drew. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sandy Eyk (Michele Eitniear), Jim (Yvonne) Eyk; and her niece and nephews. Lois retired from the payroll department at Meijer.  She enjoyed knitting, bowling, casinos “cooling station” and traveling.  Lois also enjoyed spending her summers at Schnabel Lake Campground. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 4, at 1 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Inurnment will be held at Floral View Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. A luncheon will be held immediately following the memorial service at the American Legion Roger B. Chaffee Post (2327 Byron Center Ave. SW, Wyoming).
