Lois Lind Rodgers

Lois Lind Rodgers, age 92, of Caledonia went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 23, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emerson and Fianna Lind; siblings and their spouses, John Lind, Paul and Sue Lind, Barbara and Robert Higgins, Larry and Loretta Lind; on her husband’s side, brothers-in-law, Clarence Rodgers and George Rodgers; sister-in-law, Helen Near; son-in-law, W. Charles Collins. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, J. Irvin Rodgers; daughters, Marcia Collins (Lynn Benedict), Lavonda (Michael) Martin; sister-in-law Phyllis Lind and special son, William Zaagsma; 3 granddaughters and their spouses, several great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews whom she considered more as her children. Funeral services will be held on Friday, 11 am at Bowne Center United Methodist Church, 12051 84th St., Alto with Pastor Robert Wright and Chaplain Dewey Thompson officiating.  Interment Bowne Center Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 616 E. Main St., Caledonia.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Caledonia Education Foundation or Bowne Center United Methodist Church.
