Lois Armstrong

Lois Ruth Armstrong, age 95, of Wyoming, Michigan, peacefully passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025. Lois was born in Hudsonville, Michigan, to the late Fred and Nella Victory. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Armstrong; son, Douglas Armstrong; siblings, John and Wilma Victory, Russell and Nora Mae Victory, Claude and Janet Victory, Nelson and Dorothy Victory, Vernon Victory; and her friend, Louis Huyser. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Sharon and Daniel Christy, Sandra DeKraker; daughter-in-law, Kim Armstrong; grandchildren, Sean Armstrong, Aubree Kowalski, Koryn DeKraker, and April Hill; sister, Carol Mielke; sister-in-law, Sharon Victory; and her nieces and nephews. Lois was a longtime, faithful member of Ivanrest Christian Reformed Church. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and her church family. Lois loved to cook and used her talent working in the catering and food service industry for many years. She had a zest for life and had amazing energy and strength of body and spirit. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 15, at 2 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Brandon Haan officiating. The burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit the family on Saturday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lois’ memory to the Alzheimer’s Association - Greater Michigan Chapter.
