
Lois Arlene Scholten, age 74, of Thompsonville, Michigan, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018, due to pancreatic cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Scholten; son, Roger I. See II; grandson, Brett James See; sisters, Mary DeWitt and Shirley DeWitt. Lois is survived by her children, Rocky (Beth) See, Barbara See, Brenda (Mike) Landon; daughter-in-law, Joyce See; grandchildren, Scott Sytsma, Angela Hall, Michael Landon, Jr., Michelle Hall, Jason Landon, Cody Landon, Austin Hall; great grandchildren, Alana Remus, Noah Hall and Edie Hall; brothers and sisters, Jerry (Louise) DeWitt, Harvey (Jeannie) DeWitt, Elaine DeWitt, Marvin (Becky) DeWitt, Flora Muller; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Lois worked as a CNA for over 20 years at Brookcrest Nursing Home in Grandville, Michigan, and as a Home Health Aide in Manistee County until she retired in 2010. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, November 23, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home and Saturday from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service.
