Linda Winkle (Beute), age 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 24. She will be dearly missed by her children, Mike (Lynne), Steve, David, and Susan; and her grandchildren, Anna, Kristin, Abby, Josh, Alea, Audrey, and Elise. She loved her niece, Michelle (Rick) Jongsma, as her own and Adam and Hannah as her grandchildren. She will also be lovingly remembered by her siblings on both sides of her family: Rowland (Janet) Beute, Jerry (Kathy) Beute, Tom (Pat) Beute, Mark (Ruth) Beute, Jon (Mona) Beute, Bern and Judy Winkle, Joyce Echavarria, and all of her nieces and nephews. And she is now celebrating a heavenly reunion with her parents, Clarence and Hilda, as well as her sister, Carol.

She was born in Wayland, Michigan but lived the rest of her life in Grand Rapids, Wyoming, and Grandville. Her church homes were Grandville Avenue CRC for 25 years and the past 50 at South Grandville CRC, where she faithfully served in the Baby Pantry and at a local elementary school through Kids Hope. But by far her favorite ministry was pampering her grandkids with gifts, cards, and Jello cups as well as attending almost all of their athletic, musical, and social events. She also loved to travel, read, and visit with her friends from church and her condo community, many of whom she is now revisiting in heaven.

The family will greet friends on Friday, July 29, 2022, from 5:30 - 8:00 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf in Grandville (4145 Chicago Dr. SW), and on Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 9:30 - 10:15 am at South Grandville CRC (4130 Wilson Ave. SW) before the 10:30 funeral service. Memorial contributions may be given in her name to the South Grandville CRC Baby Pantry.
