Linda “Lyn” Roelofs

Linda “Lyn” Kay Roelofs (VanEede, Griffeth), age 78, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, went to be with Jesus on Friday, May 30, 2025. She will be lovingly remembered by Junior “JR” Roelofs, her devoted husband of 14 years (170 months); her loving sons, Bobby (Michelle) Griffeth, James (Vega) Griffeth and loving daughters, Tammy (Jerry) Nelson, Melissa (Duane) Zuverink, Rachael (Jonathan) Witteveen, Emily (Jonathan) Fusco; special grandchildren, Allison, Nick (Kennedy), Mitch (Hanna), Grace (Josh Mitchell) Griffeth, Airika (Ryan) McCawley, Jonathon (Heidi) Tilma, Sadie (John Blower) Honholt, Samantha (Dallas) Dickson, Mercedes, Austin Griffeth, Tristan Roelofs, Stephen (Emma) Nelson, Sophia (Apolinar) Saucedo, Lucy Nelson, Lilly Nelson, Hailey Zuverink, Cameron Zuverink, Josephine Fusco, Alexander Fusco; 13 awesome great-grandchildren, Wesley, Logan, Owen, Addison, Roman, Oliver, Glen, Maggie, Colton, Raelyn, Emerson, Remington, Gabriel; her dear sister, Karon (Albert) Buning: brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Flip (Carol) Roelofs, Gloria (Daryl) Diemer; as well as many nieces, nephews, family and great friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ella VanEede; daughter, Diane Tilma; and her first husband, Bob Griffeth. She was a faithful member of Buck Creek Community Church in Wyoming, Michigan. Lyn loved her Lord and family and she will be deeply missed. Relatives and friends will be invited to attend a celebration of her life, at a later date. We would like to thank the caring staff at the Village of Heather Hills for the attentive care and loving compassion! In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Buck Creek Community Church Benevolent Fund or Casa de Esperanza.
