Linda Faye Van Heuvelen

Linda Faye Van Heuvelen, age 83, of Grand Rapids went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 14, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Boyd and Edith Herrick; sister, Judy and Tom Carvey; special friend, Peter Snore. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Mike and Patti Van Heuvelen, Mark Van Heuvelen and special friend, Heather; many nieces and nephews; and her cat, Misty. Linda grew up in Grand Rapids and graduated from South High School, nursing school, GRCC, and Aquinas College. She retired from Kent County after many years of service. Linda loved to travel, nationally and internationally, especially after she retired, and spent many winters in Arizona. She was a proud member of Alpha Omega Masters Sorority and Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church. Linda’s family wishes to thank the staff of Commonwealth Senior Living and Faith Hospice for their love and care shown to Linda. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 2-5pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood.
