Leslie Marilyn Garrison

Leslie Garrison, age 64, of Georgetown Township, went to her heavenly home on Friday, October 6, 2023. Leslie will be remembered for her faith and love for her family. She cherished being a mom and a grandma to her two grandsons and loved her family fiercely. She modeled selfless love, generosity and welcoming others with open arms. Through her own cancer journey she was an encouragement to many others in the same fight. Leslie was a talented cook and avid bird lover. She worked at Georgetown Township Public Library for over 20 years. Leslie also attended Res Life Church. She will be greatly missed for her strength and her incredible foundation of faith in Jesus. She was preceded in death by Paul and Joan Jahn. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Amy and Nick Huyser and their son, Isaiah, and Emily and Zach Okic and their son, Jameson; siblings: Gail Coy, Gordon (Jill) Jahn, Steve (Kim) Jahn and Alison (Billy) Turner; and nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Pat Binish officiating. Burial will take place at Georgetown Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family prior to the service from 9-11:00 a.m. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Resurrection Life Church.
