Leslie "Lee" Mulder, age 74, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026. Born on October 25, 1951, Lee lived a life marked by generosity, warmth, and a deep love for her family and music.
A devoted wife and mother, Lee shared many cherished years with her husband, James Mulder, who preceded her in death in 2013. Together they built a loving home and raised two daughters, Kerri Major and Katie Finney, who carry forward her legacy of kindness and compassion.
Lee had a special gift for bringing joy to others through music. She found great pleasure in playing the guitar and singing Celtic folk songs—her melodies often filling rooms with warmth and lifting the spirits of those around her. Her voice was not only a source of entertainment but also a reflection of her generous heart and vibrant spirit.
Those who knew Lee will remember her unwavering support for the accomplishments of others. She celebrated the successes of loved ones with genuine enthusiasm and never hesitated to express her love openly. Her presence brought comfort and encouragement to many, and her absence will be deeply felt.
Lee will be remembered fondly by her family and friends for the joy she brought into their lives through both word and song. May her memory bring peace to all who knew and loved her. A Visitation will be held on January 17, 2026, from 2-4 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, Michigan.
