Leonard William Cobbs III

Leonard William Cobbs III, age 50, of Kentwood, passed away unexpectedly and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother, Harriet Cobbs; step-father, James “Jim” Kirkendall. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 14 years, Jennifer; children, Josh (Kerissa) Kingsbury, Devon Martin, Adrian Foster, Quaye Cobbs, Jordan Cobbs, Andrew Cobbs-Hannafius, Onnalisia Hannafius, Bree Hannafius, Nathan Cobbs; step-children, Alexandria (Leon) King, Autumn Rodriguez, Kevin O’Neil; grandchildren, Kace Lee, Jamieson, Kameron, Aiden, Myiah; father, Leonard William Cobbs II; sisters, Hillary (Chris) Woolley, Patricia Cobbs; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on 2 pm Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with life-long friend, Richard Silveus officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Due to gathering restrictions, there will be a limit on the number of people who may enter the building at a time. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
