Leonard   Van Houten

Van Houten, Leonard Leonard Van Houten, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014.  He fought the battle and is now rejoicing with Jesus in heaven.  He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Sarah Anne Van Houten.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Agnes; children, Wesley and Deb Van Houten, Michael and Wendy Van Houten, Kari Van Houten and Kurt Overkamp; grandchildren, Kelly and Jason Johnson, Scott and Rachel Van Houten, Sam Van Houten, Nick Van Houten; great grandchild, Grady Johnson; brothers and sisters, Grace Pluger, Ruth and Marv TeBos, Dorothy Van Setten, Edward and Joyce Van Houten, Esther Van Houten; sisters-in-law, Betty Van Houten, Lois Van Houten, Rita Van Houten, Beatrice King, Marion and Rog Mulder, Clara Kuipers.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday 9 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. with Rev. Nancy Boote officiating.  Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to American Diabetes Association.
