Leon Ward Potter

Leon Ward Potter, age 84, of Grand Rapids, was called to his heavenly home on Thursday, July 6, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Junella; and his brothers, Larry Potter, Jim Potter, Les Potter, Phil Potter. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Jill and Mike Kuikstra, Jay Potter, Jana and Tim Bunnell, Joan and Ken Feyen, Joel Potter (Dan); his grandchildren, Keana, Linnea, Jayson, Shane, Ashley, Marcus, Sheldon, Landon, Ja’mez, Kendra, Trenton, Zachary, and Jared; his great-grandchildren, Blake, Alex, Brielle, Jace, Marcus Jr., Jordyn, Jocelyn, Lexi; brothers, Dale and Rosie Potter, Merle and Gloria Potter; sister, Kathy and Al Tuinstra; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 10, at 1:30 p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with his brother, Pastor Dale Potter officiating.  Interment Riverbend Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
