Leah Marie Jansen

Leah Marie Jansen, 41, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 16 years, Andrew; children, Lewis, and Nora Jansen; parents, Patricia and Michael Zuiderveen; siblings, Jennifer and Brett Idema, Cody and Jojo Zuiderveen; Andrew’s parents, Joseph and Bernadette Jansen; Andrew’s siblings, Brian and Mallory Jansen, Nicholas Jansen; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

Leah served as the Vice President of Hascall Steel Company. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend and she loved spending time with those she cared about. She was a constant, loving presence in their lives and she will be dearly missed. 

Relatives and friends may meet the family on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 1-3pm and 5-7pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the National Leiomyosarcoma Foundation or Wings of Mercy.
