Alan Faber

Alan Mark Faber, age 76, of Grandville, went to be with his Lord on Friday, July 10, 2026. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Jayne Faber. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Sally Faber; children, Kevin and Anita Faber, Kim and Michael Smith; grandson, Micah Faber; siblings, Duane and Linda Faber, Ardis Faber; Sally’s family, Jim and Linda McGhee, Patti McGhee, Ron McGhee; many nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends. 

Alan proudly served his country in the Michigan Air National Guard. Alan faithfully worked 47 years at Grandville Printing as a Production Scheduler. He enjoyed woodworking, spending many hours with grandson, Micah, in his workshop, sharing his knowledge and Alan was not shy about using technology to learn new things. He was always willing and ready to learn. He loved to help others and put others first. He was dedicated to leadership at Jenison Bible Church. He also enjoyed golfing and gardening; growing more tomatoes than he could eat. He will be dearly missed. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Jenison Bible Church, 6360 14th Ave, Hudsonville, with Pastor Steven Washburn and Pastor Rich McCarrell officiating. The burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday from 9:30am-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Jenison Bible Church Building Fund.
