Larry Bruce VanderZwaag

​Larry VanderZwaag, age 69, of Jenison, was called to his Heavenly home on Friday, December 22, 2023. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Darlene; children, Jeremy (Jeanne) VanderZwaag, Eric (Lisa) VanderZwaag, Allison (Ron) McGee; sister, Jan Vrosh, and his favorite granddog, Huey Lewis. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Rick Vrosh. Larry was an Optometrist for 37 years and he enjoyed his time on the water. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at 11AM at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Rick Kiekintveld officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family from 10-11AM prior to the start of the funeral service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Portage Lake Bible Camp, Fair Haven Church, or Faith Hospice.
