Larry Ambrose

Larry Mitchell Ambrose, age 83, of Allendale, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, February 9, 2025. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of over 57 years, Judy Ambrose; children, Elizabeth George, Todd and Jennifer Ambrose; grandchildren, Brecken and Amber Ambrose, Kaylee Myers, Noah Ambrose, Charles George, Maggie Ambrose; great-grandchildren, Alaina and Eli; siblings, Jerry Ambrose, Ken and Anne Ambrose, Barb and Bruce Lewis, Mary and Robert Winer; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Terry and Patty Rairigh, Denny Rairigh; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Larry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. He retired from GM after 38 years. He enjoyed being outside gardening, hunting, fishing and farming. Larry loved his family and he loved the Lord. He will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 15, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 6651 Scott St., Allendale, with Pastor Jared Kusz officiating. The burial will take place at Kent Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
