Kyle David Wilson

Kyle David Wilson, age 54, of Byron Center, suddenly passed away at his home and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.  He will be greatly missed by his wife of 24 years, Becky Wilson; children: Kylie, Conner, Collin, and Carson; parents: Norris and Ruth Wilson; sister, Janelle and Dan Martin; father-in-law, Burton Westveld; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Bruce Westveld, Bonnie and Rodney Williams, Brenda and Randy Goodyke; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Beverly Westveld; and brother-in-law, Bernie Westveld.  Kyle graduated from Michigan Tech. and was currently working as a civil engineer at Nederveld. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle and was especially active in the lives of his kids. He loved camping with the extended family, as well as boating and fishing with his kids. He was also an active member of South Grandville CRC, serving as an elder and singing on the praise team. He loved sports and played and refereed basketball.  He also enjoyed watching all sports, especially his favorite teams: the Spartans, Tigers, and Lions. His latest project was his vegetable garden. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at South Grandville Christian Reformed Church, 4130 Wilson SW, Grandville, with Rev. Dr. Daniel Mouw officiating. Interment will be held at Winchester Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville and also on Monday from 10:30-11:15 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
