
Kimberly Marie Skiba, age 57, of Wyoming, MI passed on unexpectedly in the late evening hours of Monday, June 17th, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Hayden Miller-White, her father Robert Hoffius, her grandparents, Donald and Marilyn Hoffius, and her many beloved pets including her very best four-legged friend, Buddy.
Kimberly will be lovingly remembered by her husband of almost 23 years, Mike Skiba; her children, Josh (Gethel) Halvorsen, Jessica (Jamie) Hudson, Gage Hoffius, Tyler Miller, David Miller, and Alaya Miller; her stepdaughter, Selena Skiba; her grandchildren, MacKenzie Sanders, Noah Hudson, Dylan Sanders, Mady Sanders, Ethan Hudson, Aleyana Hudson, Amyah Miller, Jaxon Halvorsen, Amira Calderon, Kamden White; her brother, Robert Hoffius; her mother, Glenda Royce; and her furbabies, Bailey and Mia.
Kim grew up in Hopkins, MI. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time sitting and chatting with those she loved. She would spend hours listening and laughing with all her closest family and friends any time she got the chance. Kim was a dedicated employee and worked for over 15 years at Metal Components. She was an avid sports fan and looked forward to cheering on her beloved Dallas Cowboys every year during football season. Kim always had an endless list of new projects around the house for her and Mike to work on, she had an eye for design and a passion for making her house a home. She loved being a grandma and lived for the joy of making her grandchildren smile. She always went above and beyond to make them each feel special for every birthday and Christmas.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 21st at 11am at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave, Wyoming, MI.
Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday morning for a showing from 10-11am at the funeral home prior to services. Following the service, a celebration of life will be held at Kim’s daughter Jessica Hudson’s residence at 1pm.
