Kevin Lee Flermoen

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we acknowledge the passing of our dear brother, Kevin Flermoen, who went to be with his Lord on Monday, August 10, 2020. Born on September 23, 1952, Kevin was the second eldest child born to the late Edwin M. and Elaine J. (Jorgenson) Flermoen.  Kevin graduated in 1971, from Union High School.  He spent the majority of his working life at American Seating Company, retiring after nearly 30 years of service.  Kevin then cared for our widowed mother for nine years until her passing in 2014. Kevin loved the peace and quiet of country living.  He enjoyed hunting at his cabin up north, poker games with his long-time buddies, and holiday dinners with his family.  He always recited “The Lord’s Prayer” prior to celebratory meals.  Kevin had a huge heart, extending many kindnesses to his family and friends.  We will miss him very much.  Kevin is survived by his five siblings, Steven Flermoen, Jaine Flermoen, Laurie Flermoen, Daniel Flermoen, Susan (Russell) Rosema; many nieces and nephews and other extended family members.  Our family wishes to extend our sincerest gratitude to the doctors and nurses of Mercy Health in Muskegon for their compassion and care of our brother.   According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
