Kevin C. Heinig, age 68, of Hudsonville, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Heinig. Kevin will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Ruth; children, Michelle and Mike Wagner, Chad and Alex Heinig, Colleen Heinig; grandchildren, Seth, Isaac, Ellie, Sarah, Maverick, Gunar, Samantha, Ellissa, Logan, Marly; two great-grandchildren; mother, Oveta Heinig; siblings, Bryan, Pam, Kris, Alan, Victoria, Julie, Lynda, and sister-in-law, Jan Efting and their spouses; extended family and friends. Kevin enjoyed classic car shows, playing softball, and was an avid Michigan State University fan. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Todd Schmidt officiating. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, June 15 from 6:30-9 pm at the funeral home. An additional hour of visitation will be held prior to the service on Friday. Per Kevin’s request, please dress casually. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Corewell Health Hospice or Senior Resources.
