Kenny Lloyd Hocutt, age 73, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior on November 3, 2025. He was born November 18, 1951, in Benton Harbor, Michigan. One of the most important things to know about Kenny was his devout love and faith in God. Kenny was a man of many talents and hobbies. From gardening and creating masterpieces out of wood with his hands, to winning ballroom dancing competitions in Chicago. There wasn’t much he couldn’t do. Kenny had also proudly served the U.S. Army when he left high school during the time of the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged, he went back to his hometown and started running and fixing the machines at Bosch. He did that for 35 years until he retired and began another career. He was also an avid duck hunter, and lover of dogs. Most importantly, Kenny was an amazing father to his daughter Becka (age 23), who was right by his side til the end. Kenny wanted a child of his own for many years and waited until he was 50 to have his pride and joy. They had a bond that no one could even begin to describe. He will be remembered by his daughter, Becka Hocutt; stepmother, Melba Hocutt; siblings, Dianne Archie, Pam Mensinger, Melba Lolmaugh; many nieces and nephews, friends, and more. Memorial services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Drive SW. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 1-2 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
