Kenneth Wallinga

Kenneth “Ken” P. Wallinga, age 69, of Allendale, was welcomed into the arms of his Heavenly Father on Friday, July 29, 2016.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Florence Wallinga and his sister, Norma Wallinga.  He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife of 44 years, Marcia; children, Jason and April Wallinga, Lisa and Shawn Forner; grandchildren, Jacob, Alyssa, Brooklyn and Jayden Wallinga, Derek and Devon Forner; sisters, Sharon and Russ Alderink, Kris Wright; brother-in-law, Doug and Judy Kramer; mother-in-law, Betty Kuiphof. A special thank you to Faith Hospice and Ken’s nurse, Kathy, for the compassionate care that was given to him. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Sunday, July 31, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf (corner of Avery and Scott) 6651 Scott St., Allendale.  A private graveside service will be held at Allendale Township Cemetery.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Allendale Christian School.
