Kenneth Vernon Preston

Kenneth Vernon Preston, age 92, of Wyoming went to be with his Lord on Monday, January 5, 2026. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Lucile Laur, Calvin Preston, Edith Zerfas, Shirley “Sarge” Preston. Ken will be lovingly remembered by his children; Marilyn and Douglas Wood, Jim and Tina Preston, Phil and Deana Preston, Kimberly Leyko and Kirk Vandepanne, Desiree and Oliver Nelmark; grandchildren, Christopher Wood, Jennifer and Dan Suptic, Ryann Leyko, Braedon Leyko, Skylar Nelmark, Taylor Nelmark, Lea Miles, Bailey Nelmark, Lucas Miles; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Cannon, June Pleune; extended family and friends. Ken proudly served in the US Army. He faithfully worked in Tool and Die at General Motors for 42 years. He enjoyed bowling and playing slots at the casino. Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday, January 10 at Celebration Bible Church, 4690 8th Avenue, Grandville, with Rev. Jim Shemaria officiating. Burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, January 9, 2026 from 4-7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Saturday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Celebration Bible Church.
