Kenneth Kortman

<a>On Saturday evening, July 18, 2015, our Heavenly Father called home our loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Kenneth Kortman. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 52 years, Nella (Laarman); his children, Jeff (Wendy) Kortman, Deb (Rob) Brinks, Shelley VandenBerg, Linnae (Dave) Blouw; 14 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Ken, 74, was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Rena Kortman; brother, Harvey; sisters, Ada, Annette, and Fenna. In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by his sisters, Julia (Rob) Koster, Joan Koetje; brother, Jerry (Audrey) Kortman; sisters-in-law, Margaret Kortman, Martha (Larry) Herweyer, Carol (Marv) Koetje; brother-in-law, Carl (Brenda) Laarman. Ken was the owner of Ken Kortman Masonry for 40 years and loved spending time with his family, traveling, and fishing. He was a member of Cedar Orthodox Presbyterian Church of Hudsonville, MI. Visitation will take place Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Drive, Grandville, MI. The funeral will be held at 11 am on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Cornerstone United Reformed Church, 6442 36th Avenue, Hudsonville, MI. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jehovah Jireh Ministries or Faith Hospice of Grand Rapids.</address>
