Keith Albert Larson

Keith A. Larson, age 92, of Comstock Park, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2025. Keith was born in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Albert and Myrtle Larson. He grew up on the city’s west side and graduated from Union High School in 1950 and then went on to proudly serve his country for 4 years in the U.S. Navy. Keith worked for the City of Grand Rapids for 36 ½ years in various departments, retiring as the Director of Maintenance in 1993. He enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening, and especially fishing whenever he could. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years, Nelvina; daughter, Sandra Larson; sister-in-law, Joan Koel of Iowa; many  nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 10, at 1 p.m. at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont, MI with Rev. Beverly Weeks officiating. Burial Pine Grove Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Thursday, January 9, from 5-7 p.m. at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Rest Haven Homes in Grand Rapids.
