Kay J. Koetje

Kay J. Koetje, age 88, of Caledonia, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 10, 2025. She will be lovingly remembered by her loving husband of 68 years, Kerwin; children, Deb Tigchelaar, Karen (Gary) Wolters, Judy Hubach; 8 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, and sister-in-law, Marilyn (Jerry) Molewyk. She was preceded in death by her sons-in-law,  Pete Tigchelaar and Al Hubach; siblings, Percy (Gert) DeKam, Maretta DeKam, Carl (Betty) DeKam, Don and Carol DeKam. A funeral service will be held 11 am, Wednesday, May 14, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Tuesday from 4-6pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood as well as on Wednesday from 10-11am prior to the service. The family would like to thank the staff at Commonwealth Assisted Living for the wonderful care given to Kay.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Cutlerville East Christian Reformed Church or to Faith Hospice.
