Kathryn Mae Disselkoen

Kathryn Mae (Huizenga) Disselkoen, age 97, of Wyoming, was called home to her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 13, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Harry and Mary Disselkoen, Norman and Victoria Disselkoen; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Andrew and Darby Disselkoen, Lisa and Damian Master (Rocky, Montana), Matthew and Rebecca Disselkoen (Ben, Luke, Sam); sister, Gertrude Drew; brother-in-law, Arlin and Emma Disselkoen; many nieces and nephews. Kathryn was born and raised in Morrison, Illinois. After retirement she and her husband enjoyed traveling. They were charter members of Rogers Heights Christian Reformed Church. Special thanks to the staff at Rose Garden and Emmanuel Hospice for their love and care. A Celebration of Kay’s life will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Lee St. Christian Reformed Church, 1261 Lee St. SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Kent Rottman officiating. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 10-10:45 am at the church. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Gems at Lee Street Church.
