Kathleen J. Crystal

Kathleen J. Crystal, age 95, of Grand Rapids went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 18, 2021. Kathleen will be remembered for her warmth, her cheerfulness, and her deep love for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl W. Crystal; son, Robert W. Crystal; brother Eugene Westra; dear friend, Sid Lautenbach. She will be dearly missed by her grandsons, Alexander (Katie) Crystal, Christopher (Logan Brower) Crystal; great grandchildren, Jackson, Kyle, Athena, Claire, Peyton; sisters, Clare Kapteyn, Maxine Schaaf; sister-in-law, Pat Westra; and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Sid Lautenbach and the entire Lautenbach family for their care, companionship, and love over the past 10 years. Funeral services for Kathleen will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 2 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood. Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Burial at Cascade Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
