Katherine Lorraine Busch

Katherine Lorraine Busch, age 77, of Wyoming, went to her heavenly home on Monday, July 7, 2025.  She worked as a para pro in Jenison Public Schools for over 25 years and loved working with children.  She also loved flowers, gardening, being outdoors, music and musicals, and grandchildren activities and events.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Dorothy Busch; sister and best friend, Christine Osborn.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Joseph and Erin Townsend; Juliet Townsend; grandchildren: Tyler, Emma, and Elizabeth; sister, Martha VandenBerg; many nieces and nephews.  A Celebration of her life will be held Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Louie’s Corner Bar, 7177 West Q Ave., Kalamazoo, 49009 from 3-6 p.m.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Association.
