Kari Lynn Leys

Kari Lynn Leys, age 50, of Grandville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer.  Kari will be most remembered for her strength, kindness, patience, beauty, and her love for her husband and children.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Dolores Landstra; brother-in-law, Mark Leys.  She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband of 22 years, Mike Leys; daughter, Breanna Lynn Leys; son, Brendan Michael Leys; brother, Gary and JoAn Landstra; sister, Lori and Dave Perry; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carroll and Delores Leys; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Pam and Lester Cooke, Dan and Mary Leys, Naesha Leys, Gordon and Linda Leys; nieces and nephews, Manda and Jason Unger, Cassie and Dale Coulter, Leah and Greg Molchan, Carolyn Thatcher, Michael Landstra, Erika Makarewicz, Chad Makarewicz, Trey Perry, Jeff Ellsworth, Michelle Ellsworth, Joe Ellsworth,  Abigail Leys, Nathan Leys; and many cousins and dear friends.  Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Saturday, July 22 at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Rev. Matt Shults officiating.  Interment Rosedale Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 5 - 9 pm at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
