Karen Parsons

Karen Ruth Parsons, age 68, of Jenison, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 27, 2017. She was born to Ruth Faye (Pennington) and James Ray Scott.   She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Scott and her brothers, Keith Scott and Al Scott.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Brett Parsons, Jennifer and Mark DeGlopper; grandchildren, Justin Davidson, Michael DeGlopper, Devin DeGlopper, Nathan DeGlopper, Jarek DeGlopper, Hannah Parsons, Alexis Parsons-James, Jacob Parsons-James; mother, Ruth Scott; sisters, Cheryl Scott, Diane and Ric Johnson; brother, Bob Scott; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 1, at 2 p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
